Cloud Migration Coordinator

We’re looking for a Cloud Migration and/or Cutover Plan Coordinator who can work closely with migration consultants, cloud architects and cloud engineers in developing and managing strategic goals, roadmaps, and migration wave plans for a large scale data center migration to AWS Cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert level planning and coordination support for a large scale data center migration to AWS Cloud
• Work closely with migration engineers, cloud architects and cloud engineers in developing and managing migration roadmaps and wave plans
• Act as a liaison between discovery, execution, and application teams to monitor and coordinate migration activities
• Work with each application team to plan and collect prerequisites for application testing during test and final cutover
• Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
• Conduct Migration Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
• Provide daily and weekly cutover reports. Communicate migration details and schedules to the business and management as required

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of previous migration and/or project coordination experience
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Formal training or certification in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud is preferred
• Advanced knowledge of cloud discovery and migration lifecycle
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
• Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
